Lists communities with sustainable living principles, some of which might be factoring in 2012

Probably the largest directory of worldwide intentional communities. Some of these are in tune with survivalist beliefs. Collectively they demonstrate what can be achieved, regardless of purpose.

A team of naval officers  have purchased a decommissioned submarine, and are working on acquiring two more. All three will be specially refitted for the  purpose of surviving a 2012 Apocalypse. Each sub hjas room for twenty (20) non-crew passengers, at a cost of $1 million each. First sub is sold out.

Land has been acquired for this survival spot in Drakensberg. 2012 author Patrick Geryl is involved, and membership is available.
